History / Family Crest

Bob and Cathy Tallman, along with Bob's Father, Harvey Tallman, formed The Tallman Foundation to give back to their roots. Harvey grew up in the north end of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and attended schools in the area. Cathy, was raised in the north end, and enjoyed many rewarding years teaching, as an elementary school teacher, in the core area. As Chairman of Princess Auto Ltd. - a locally owned retail chain specializing in farm, industrial, garage, and surplus items which started in 1942, and quickly grew to be one of the most competitive industrial supply chains in Canada - We believe that life is about the choices we make and that we should "Stand Tall ®" in order to attain our personal happiness/goals. The foundation's vision is to provide assistance to selected inner-city youth programs that allow participants to engage in positive experiences and activities.
