Hello, my name is Kevin Huang and I am a graduate of Sisler High School (class of 2011). I am currently attending the University of Manitoba in the Faculty of Science and plan on going into the Faculty of Pharmacy.  I really like the freedom that comes with university.

My name is Janina Secjadas, I am currently a first year student in the Faculty of Business and Administration at the University of Winnipeg.   I am very content with my decision to pursue a career in business. My classes have been exciting and the people I’ve met are friendly and interesting.  I was born in Pasig City, Philippines and immigrated to Canada at the age of six. I attended three different elementary schools and one high school in my lifetime.

My name is Alain André and I am currently in my first year of Pre-Medicine at the University of Winnipeg. My dream is to become a team doctor for a professional sports team.

My name is Rommel Cadiz Solitario and I am currently in my first year at the University of Winnipeg.  I am enjoying taking a variety of courses to see what I might be more interested in.  My high school years were great, and I knew that it would be a defining period in my life. I attended St. John's with my siblings and a lot of my cousins.

My name is Hibo Farah and I am in the Faculty of Science at College Universitaire de Saint-Boniface. My hometown is Arusha, Tanzania: a country situated on the East coast of Africa, right under Kenya. I came to Canada when I was about two years old, where my family resided in Montreal at first. We then moved to Vancouver before finally settling in Brandon, Manitoba for eight years. However, after dealing with family disputes and a divorce, my mother wanted a fresh start for us. So, she decided to move to Winnipeg.

My name is Dan Jr Patriarca. I am in the Faculty of Science (pre-dental) at the University of Winnipeg. I graduated in 2010 from St. Johns High School.

Erin Good

My name is Erin Good, and I am currently enrolled in the University of Winnipeg, in the Faculty of Education. I hope to become an Art or English teacher.  I also enjoy History and Anthropology, I find the world fascinating.  I have never been outside the country, but I aspire to visit every continent at least once.

My name is Hy Nguyen and I am in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Winnipeg.

I was born two months early weighing only 1.8 lb. The doctor told my Mom that I would have to stay in an incubator for at least 4 months before I could be released from the hospital due to my size. What a surprise to everyone when I was strong enough to leave after four days!

My name is Adriel Agpalza and I am a fourth year student in the Faculty of Arts (Political Science) at the University of Manitoba.

My name is Patricia Fabros and I am in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Manitoba.  My family immigrated to Winnipeg in April 2008.
I attended grade 12 at St. John’s High School.  It was tough starting all over again, I had a lot of new people to meet, most were more than welcoming, and it was a blessing to have met these people and made them my friends.

My name is Gempyl Evangelista and I am currently enrolled in the Faculty of Science at the University of Winnipeg.  I am the oldest sibling of three and I have been to six schools and moved to six different homes.  Nothing in my life has been permanent so far except for always having my family by my side.
