2010 Golf Tournament
The Princess Auto Foundation (PAF) and Tallman Foundation will be hosting its Fourth Annual Golf Tournament, in support of Princess Auto Foundation Bursary at technical colleges throughout Canada and the Tallman Foundation provides First Degree scholarships at two North End High Schools and provides financial assistance to educational and healthy living programs.
This year, please mark your calendar on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Kingswood Golf and Country Club. We encourage you to register early as we “SOLD OUT “early last year.
Currently, the Princess Auto Foundation supports Endowment Bursary programs at six technical colleges in Canada. These colleges are located in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Newfoundland.
The Tallman Foundation has provided nine full scholarships in the past three years to students from Sisler and St. John’s High Schools. We have supported programs through Boys and Girls Club North Winnipeg, Career Trek and Graffiti Gallery.
This year the cost, remains the same for a Hole Sponsorship, $1,700.00. This fee ensures you a four-player team for the tournament; golf carts, prizes, dinner, signage at your hole, and an opportunity to organize a contest where prizes supplied by your company can be given away. A Team Sponsorship is $1200 and includes two carts, dinner for the four golfers and prizes. An individual entry is $300; and includes a cart, dinner and prizes.
Should you/ your company wish to donate by name/ signage at a hole, fee per hole sign is $500.00. We ask you kindly to consider a donation of 4 team prizes so that all end the day a winner!! No prize is too big or too small and we thank you in advance for your consideration.
The tournament will be a shotgun start, beginning at Noon. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. Please come early, enjoy a beverage, lunch, mingle and enjoy the entertainment. Approximately 30 minutes following the completion of the golf there will be a dinner served, at which time the prizes for the tournament will be presented. GREAT Silent Auction!
