10,000 Steps: A Walk In The Park

For the second year, the Tallman Foundation has planned a walk in the park in Winnipeg's North End, scheduled for the last weekend of May. On Sunday, May 29, 2011, we will begin the 10,000 Steps walk at 10:00 AM. Taking place in beautiful Kildonan Park, the event will start and finish at the nationally-renowned Rainbow Stage.

We aim to raise funds in support of our Student Sponsorship Program while raising awareness for North End education and community support. This year, HOT 103's Ace Burpee will be Master of Cerenomies and our "Energy Walker". Post-walk, we have entertainment, prizes, food, and more planned for all participants.
